MentorSimply integrates with Google services to provide enhanced functionality. This section specifically addresses how we handle Google user data in compliance with Google's API Services User Data Policy.

When you connect your Google account to MentorSimply, we may access and collect the following Google user data:
- Google Calendar Data: We access your calendar information to display your availability, schedule mentorship sessions, and prevent booking conflicts. This includes calendar events, free/busy information, and calendar metadata.
- Google Meet Integration: We create Google Meet links for scheduled sessions and may access meeting metadata to facilitate video calls between mentors and mentees.
- Basic Profile Information: We collect your Google profile information including name, email address, and profile picture to create and maintain your MentorSimply account.
- Google Workspace Data: For enterprise users, we may access relevant workspace data necessary for scheduling and collaboration features.
2.2 How We Use Google User Data
We use Google user data exclusively for the following purposes:
- Session Scheduling: Creating, updating, and managing mentorship session appointments in your Google Calendar.
- Video Call Setup: Automatically generating Google Meet links for scheduled sessions and ensuring seamless video communication.
- Availability Management: Checking your calendar availability to prevent double-booking and display accurate availability to potential mentees.
- Account Integration: Linking your Google account with your MentorSimply profile for authentication and profile management.
- Service Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns (in aggregate and anonymized form) to improve our integration features and user experience.
2.3 Google Data Sharing and Transfer
We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to third parties. Google user data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
